This project entails a detailed soil investigation at the proposed iron ore mining site located within Hutan Simpan Kekal Sungai Betis, Mukim Hau, Daerah Hau, Jajahan Kecil Lojing, Kelantan Darul Naim. The primary objective of the investigation is to assess the subsurface soil and geological conditions to determine the suitability and stability of the area for iron ore extraction activities. The study involves various geotechnical methods, including borehole drilling, standard penetration tests (SPT), soil sampling, and laboratory testing to evaluate key parameters such as soil strength, permeability, and composition. Given the environmentally sensitive nature of the permanent forest reserve, the investigation is conducted with strict adherence to environmental guidelines to minimize disturbance. The data obtained will provide critical input for mine planning, slope stability analysis, and the design of access infrastructure, ensuring safe and sustainable mining operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
